We managed to successfully restart our TV and connect it to the app. It still doesn't get along with the remote, but since the app is working consistently (for now), it looks like we probably have a while before we have to buy a new TV. Oh man, our TV appears to be dying, because it won't listen to the remote, so we downloaded an app to control it with, and the app keeps saying it can't find it. I knew it would be risky to wait until today to start reporting on Anime Expo, but we were pretty dead yesterday, so I just didn't want to push myself to do it. Now I feel like I have been through about three other worlds since Anime Expo, so it's a bit of a challenge to access the right files in my brain, but I'm going to try!
